Declaration for the Next Generation

As most of you know by now, I am a proud Nana to two sweet grandchildren, Nehemiah (3) and Rhema (21months). I pray for them often as I have prayed over the years for my own children, David and Hannah, Abbey and Ian. Last year I came across a great declaration that I would like to share with you. It is for your children/ grandchildren, spiritual children/grandchildren, nieces/nephews etc. Here it is –

I declare and decree that no devil of hell, no pull of the world, and no lust of the flesh will derail them from the plans and purposes of God, according to 1 John 2:15-16. “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life-is not from the Father but is from the world.”

I declare and decree that there is a hedge of protection around them, that no harm or deception or sickness can come upon them, according to Isaiah 54:17. “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.”

I declare and decree that they are secure in their gender, that they will not be preyed upon or bullied, according to Psalm 139:14   “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

I love how we can declare and decree such powerful truths because of His word. The fact that it never returns empty but accomplishes what He desires and achieves the purpose for which it was sent (Isaiah 55:11) allows us to declare these verses for the next generation with confidence. Thank you Lord!

Love Anna
